Funeral Arrangements for Archbishop Noël Treanor, Apostolic Nuncio to the EU, Bishop Emeritus of Down and Connor
Mass will be celebrated at 10.00am the Église Notre-Dame des Victoires du Sablon, Brussels. The principal celebrant will be His Eminence Cardinal Jozef De Kesel, Emeritus Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels.
Archbishop Treanor’s remains will be received at St Peter’s Cathedral at 6.00pm, followed by the Liturgical Vigil for the Deceased.
The Cathedral will be open from 8.00am-8.00pm for those who wish to pay their respects.
Parish Mass will be celebrated at 10.00am as usual.
Evening Prayer of the Church will be celebrated at 7.00pm.
Solemn Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 12.00 noon, followed by burial in the Cathedral Chapel of the Resurrection.
